1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using JAX AI Football Predictor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
JAX AI provides:
- AI-powered football match predictions for informational and entertainment purposes
- A "Beat JAX" skill-based prediction competition
- Match statistics, team analysis, and form data
3. User Accounts
- You may use the App without an account (limited features).
- Signing in via Google or Apple creates an account linked to your chosen provider.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts will result in disqualification from competitions.
4. Subscriptions
- Free Tier: Access to predictions, 3 daily Beat JAX picks, advertisements shown.
- Premium Tier (£4.99/month): Ad-free experience, 7 daily Beat JAX picks, prize eligibility, monthly tiebreaker access.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store/Play Store account settings.
- No refunds for partial months. Refund requests should be directed to Apple/Google.
5. Beat JAX Competition Rules
This is a skill-based prediction competition, NOT gambling.
- Eligibility: Open to premium subscribers aged 18+ only. One entry per person per day.
- Daily Picks: Each day, 7 fixtures are selected. Free users may pick 3; premium users may pick all 7.
- Scoring:
- Exact correct score: 5 points
- Correct result (win/draw/loss): 2.5 points
- Correct Over/Under 2.5 goals: 1 point
- Correct Both Teams To Score: 1 point
- Lock Time: Picks must be submitted at least 10 minutes before kick-off. Late entries are rejected.
- Leaderboard: Points accumulate monthly. The leaderboard resets on the 1st of each month.
- Tiebreaker: On the last day of each month, premium users predict the minute of the first goal in a designated match. In the event of a tie on points, the closest prediction wins. If still tied, the earliest submission time wins. No split payouts.
- Anti-Cheat: Each account is tied to a Firebase UID. Multiple accounts, automated submissions, or manipulation will result in disqualification and account ban.
6. Prize Pool & Distribution
- Prize Fund: £1.00 per premium subscriber per month is allocated to the prize pool.
- Prize Tiers:
- 1st Place: 50% of prize pool
- 2nd Place: 25% of prize pool
- 3rd Place: 15% of prize pool
- 4th-10th Place: Share remaining 10% equally
- Prize Format: Prizes are awarded as Amazon gift vouchers, sent to the email address associated with your account.
- Distribution Timeline: Prizes are calculated on the 1st of each month and distributed within 7 working days.
- Minimum Pool: If the prize pool is below £10, it rolls over to the following month.
- JAX AI: JAX AI competes on the leaderboard but is not eligible for prizes.
7. Not Gambling Advice
JAX AI predictions are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not gambling advice.
- We do not encourage, facilitate, or endorse gambling.
- If you choose to use our predictions for betting, you do so entirely at your own risk.
- We accept no liability for any financial losses.
- If you have a gambling problem, please contact GambleAware (0808 8020 133).
8. Intellectual Property
All content, predictions, algorithms, and branding within JAX AI are proprietary. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
- The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of predictions.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
- Maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to manipulate the competition.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
